In Advance of Hill Day

Make Appointments to Meet with Your Legislators
  • You can find out who the State Representatives and State Senators who represent the areas you serve by searching here
  • When you call to make your appointments, let the Assistant know that you are from the district and will be traveling to Nashville to meet with the legislator. You could also let them know that your organization provides charitable health care services to many of the people in their district.
  • TCCN has invited the new Commissioner of Health, Dr. Ralph Alvarado and the new Director of the Safety Net, Mindy Doyle to join us at some point between 10:30am and 1:30pm on Hill Day. As soon as they are confirmed, we'll let you the exact time they plan to join us.

Plan Your Travel - If you plan to drive to Nashville on Monday, March 27th, be sure to make plans for a place to stay that night. TCCN is not reserving rooms at any particular hotel; however, we are glad to provide suggestions if needed. 

Join Us for a Prep Session on Monday, March 20th at 1:00pm CT / 2:00pm ET. You'll receive a calendar invitation with the link to join.

Bring Information about your organization and/or program to share with your legislators along with the TCCN fact sheet that we'll provide. You'll also want to have business cards and contact information about your clinic to leave with your legislators.

Day on the Hill

We'll plan to meet in Conference Room 5C in the Cordell Hull Building at 10:30am CT. You will have to go through security so plan to arrive a few minutes early and be sure to have your ID.


Lunch - TCCN will provide lunch in the Conference Room around Noon.

Parking - We recommend parking at the Nashville Public Library garage (A on the map), or at the WeGO public transportation lot at 400 Charlotte Avenue (B on the map).
