Call for Speakers
Tennessee Charitable Care Network (TCCN) is seeking speakers for its upcoming annual conference at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, TN. The theme for our event is “Transformational Leadership in Tennessee's Health Care Safety Net."
Many uninsured and underinsured Tennesseans struggle to access needed health care services. Free and charitable clinics must emerge as leaders in quality, innovative models of care, and champions of health equity. |
TCCN is seeking speakers with compelling, informative presentations in keeping with the conference theme. Topics might include but not limited to:
Topics might include: • Innovative practices around eliminating health care disparities • Success stories and lessons learned in providing health/dental/behavioral health care to underserved populations and overcoming barriers to access to care • Best practices in data collection and reporting, including electronic health records • Grant writing, fundraising, and nonprofit marketing • Strategies to improve organizational culture and manage compassion fatigue • Strengthening organizational policies and procedures to improve staff recruitment and retention |
Who We Are
The mission of TCCN is to support, educate, and represent non-profit organizations that provide charitable healthcare services to low-income, uninsured, and underserved Tennesseans. TCCN envisions a strong, compassionate healthcare safety net for all Tennesseans in need. TCCN’s conference is designed primarily for leaders from TCCN’s member organization as well as sponsors and exhibitors.

Speaker Compensation
Selected speakers will receive conference registration, hotel accommodation at the Hutton Hotel if needed, mileage, and conference meals.
TCCN is a non-profit organization, and some speakers may choose to offer speaking engagements as an in-kind donation. If a speaker fee is required, please submit the requested amount on your application in the comments section.

Application Process:
Submit your proposals no later than Friday, June 30th.
Please note that presentations should be 50 minutes in length with 10 minutes for questions and answers with attendees.
Speakers selected for our conference will be notified on or around July 14th.
