Call for Speakers

Tennessee Charitable Care Network (TCCN) is open for proposals from organizations and subject-matter experts on topics that are relevant and beneficial to the charitable clinics and programs we serve. 

We accept proposals year-round for speaking opportunities, including webinars and in-person events. Speakers that are interested in connecting with our members through speaking opportunities should complete our online application.

Operations, Technology and AI Summit in Oak Ridge, TN on July 28, 2026
Annual Conference in Nashville, TN on September 15, 2026​
Monthly Virtual Webinar Series

TCCN provides high-quality education and training to our member organizations to address challenges faced by community and faith-based clinics and programs. 

Topics of Interest:
  • Evidence-based clinical practices for at-risk populations
  • User-friendly data and technology practices
  • Effective strategies to improve patient outcomes
  • Clinic management and administration
  • Succession Planning
  • HR/Compliance/Operations:
    • General operations topics including HR, finance, legal, budgeting, policies and procedures for nonprofits of varying sizes
  • Managing employees & building exceptional work cultures: 
    • ​Leadership: Communication, Time Management, Employee Management/Supervision, Change Management, Team Performance
  • Working with boards of directors: 
    • Recruitment, engagement, defining roles, better meetings, other best practices
  • Volunteer Management - especially clinical volunteers
  • Grant Writing, Fundraising, Partnership Development
  • Other relevant topics related to nonprofit administration and tailored to our audience of charitable care leaders

Presenter Guidelines:
  • Experience working with free and charitable care providers preferred; must demonstrate understanding of our membership and a strong interest in supporting our network of community and faith-based leaders
  • Interactive & inclusive presentation styles are encouraged to ensure audience engagement and support learning and retention
  • Should have a track record of understanding and experience in your topic area
  • Diverse ideas and perspectives should be incorporated into each presentation (our membership ranges from small to large operations, rural to suburban to urban) so that all attendees can gain something from your presentation​

BENEFITS OF SPEAKING TO TCCN MEMBERS:
Share expertise and knowledge in exchange for the following benefits:
• Increased visibility throughout TCCN’s community of free and charitable providers
• Recognition in promotional messaging including TCCN’s website, social media, and conference program 
• Valuable networking with colleagues and other professionals during the event

COMPENSATION:
TCCN is a non-profit organization, and many speakers choose to offer speaking engagements as an in-kind donation or at a reduced rate. 
Due to limited budget for travel and speaker expenses, there is a preference for Tennessee-based speakers at in-person events.

Annual Conference Speaker Proposal Timeline:
  • Deadline for submissions – Friday, May 16th
  • Selected speakers notified – Early-Mid June
  • Deadline to accept – Within 1 Week of Notification

Applications are otherwise accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year.
