2023 Uninsured adult healthcare safety net report
The Uninsured Adult Healthcare Safety Net Program, administered by the Tennessee Department of Health, State Office of Rural Health (SORH), delivers access to healthcare for uninsured adults ages 19-64 who reside in Tennessee.
This report, presented annually to the Tennessee General Assembly by the Tennessee Department of Health, provides data and tells stories about the impact of this program on uninsured Tennesseans. Many of TCCN’s member Community and Faith-Based Organizations participate in this program, providing access to medical and dental care, along with care coordination for specialty care, for thousands of our neighbors.
