In fall of 2023, TCCN began a partnership with Meharry Medical College to help place 240 Community Health Worker Trainees over three  years at TCCN member organizations and community partner sites all across Tennessee for a 40-hour supervised field experience. The field experience is intended to provide the CHW Trainee an opportunity to practice the knowledge and skills learned in the training program and continue to teach CHW Core Competencies. Trainees are evaluated on their performance at the end of the placement. More detailed information is linked below.
